Invasive and Non Invasive

are the cardiologists of the hospital. The department is well equipped with Cardiac Cath lab, ATL Color Doppler, Marquett Tread Mill system, Quinton Tread Mill and GE Marquette 3 channel ECG machines,IABP, etc.,
The Hospital has a fully equipped 14 bed Intensive Care Unit individually equipped to continuously monitor ECG, Blood pressure, CVP and Oxygen Saturation. The patients are monitored round the clock by Resident Doctors under the supervision of Anaesthetists and highly qualified and experienced specialists. Biochemistry Laboratory supports the ICU round the clock.

A four bed Intensive Post-Operative Coronary Care Unit is attached to cardiology department. Cardio Thoracic Care is also under cardiology department. The ICCU & ICTU have central monitor with four channel bedside monitors. There are adequate adult and pediatric ventilators, Infusion pumps, Defibrillators etc.

The Noninvasive Cardiac Laboratory offers:
Two-dimensional and Colour Doppler Echocardiography, Stress Echo, Stress ECG, Holter Monitoring and Doppler assessment of peripheral vessels, Telemetry, Event Monitoring, Tilt table testing, Dobutamine Stress Echocardiography, Vector Cardiogram, Pacemaker analysis and programming.

CARDIAC CATHETERISATION LABORATORY:

Invasive Investigation includes routine Angiography of Coronary, Carotid, Renal, and Peripheral vessels. The quality of Angiography is enhanced by the use Digital Subtraction Imaging [DSA]. His bundle ECG, electro Physiological Studies, Right Heart Catheter and Oxymetry are also performed routinely.

Invasive Therapeutic interventions like Angioplasty and for Stenting of Coronary, Peripheral and renal vessels are carried out. Rotablator is used for difficult lesions. Radio Frequency Ablation, Single chamber or Dual chamber Pacemaker implantation, Embolisation of splanchnic in cases of bleeding is also available.

The Intensive Care Unit is staffed round the clock with experienced senior physicians, anaesthetists and junior residents. Patients suffering from cardiac ailments are admitted into an exclusive cardiac wing and continuously monitored.
