It is a fairly large department catering to all the medical problems. The Internists see all the patients except those who are specifically referred to super-specialists.

Dr.K.Sukumar Shetty, MBBS, MD and Dr.Sandip Malli, MBBS, MD are our main Internists. Two Senior Residents and six Junior Residents assist them in medicine. A fourteen-bed intensive care unit is attached to the internal medicine and cardiology department. They receive seriously ill patients in all disciplines. The ICU has state-of-the-art monitors ventilators, and other equipments.
