Dr.B.T.Sampathkumar,
MBBS, MS, Mch, former Professor of Urology and
Dr.M.Madaiah, MBBS, MS, FRCS, FICS, D.URO (Lond) provide
cover to all urological problems. Wide variety of operations
such as TURP, TUR of Bladder Tumor, Uretroscopy, Nephrectomy,
Reconstructive Surgery, Percutaneous Nephro Lithotomy are
done in the department. The institution has state-of-the-art
endoscopes and other equipments both for investigative and
therapeutic procedures.The Department is ably supported by
the department of Nephrology, Radio Diagnosis & Pathlogical
Laboratory.
Renal Transplant Programme
A Transplant team has been established under the Urology department.
The hospital has conducted a good number of live related kidney
transplantation. The success rate of the transplants so far
done is fairly good. The Transplant team comprises of the
