The department is headed by Dr. S. Hemachandra Shetty, MBBS, MS, and D.ORTHO. He has received extensive training in UK and has worked in hospitals in UK. All types of acute trauma are treated in this department. Apart from routine orthopedic surgeries, the department has conducted surgery of spine and joint replacements including replacement of knee. Department has equipments for endo surgery.
