The department is managed by Dr. B.N.K. Prasad, M.D. D.M. (Neuro) and supported by Dr.C.Uadya Shankar, MBBS, MD, D.M (Neuro). Facilities like CT scan, EEG, ENMG have been provided. A full-fledged Neuro lab has been established to make in-depth study of neurological problems viz, epileptic syndromes including sleep and awake disorders, Nerve conduction studies, VEP [Visual Evoked Potentials] for diagnosis of myelinating and traumatic optic neuropathies and multiple sclerosis, BEAR [Brain Stem Auditory Evoked Response] for diagnosis of de myelinating diseases of vestibular and brain stem path ways, SSEP [Somato Sensory Evoked Potentials] for diagnosis of multiple sclerosis and de myelinating myelopathies.
